Week 7
Through these 7 (8) weeks, I have driven myself to workout as much as I possibly could. At the beginning I started by simply doing weight lifting, but as I progressed I found it harder and harder to stick to it. So I joined basketball. I did other activities. I have learned that it does not matter what type of exercise you are doing (depending on your goal obviously) as long as you are staying active, staying consistent, and ultimately, having fun. If you don't enjoy something, you probably shouldn't do it. That is unless you have some goal that you do enjoy. For example, you want to get better at a sport, but you hate running. You are still going to run to get better at the sport because you enjoy the sport so much. But that's different. If you are working out simply to stay active and stay healthy, find something you enjoy. That will make it a lot easier to stay consistent with your workouts.
